They’re a novelty for sure. But I bought one each for my 7 and 8 year old to teach them about Bitcoin and my 7 year old ended up doing a project at school on Bitcoin. Took in the Bitaxe, ran it off of a battery and connected to a phone wifi. Now he quotes Mises and tells his friends he’s a Bitcoin miner.
Although he did ask when he was going to find a block- and I told him it’s about the journey, not the destination 😂
But when he gives me dollar bill and a few dimes and says, Dad can you buy some more Bitcoin for me with this….its definitely worth it.
