Keeping with the theme of contemplating wtf choices in route planners: here's bahn.de best suggested route for Hamburg - Copenhagen (with a stopover in Odense) for large parts of July.
There's actually a bus and some trains from Odense to Ringsted/Copenhagen but it seems DB refuses to use those.
Also: track works on this route for over 40 days in summer right after a big campaign for international trains. Absolute WTF.
