I agree. Hype and bullshit layered on top of none of this actually being cost justified. I.e. with fiat gamesmanship subsidizing the entire AI industry right now, users of all sizes are not exposed to reasonable true cost, therefore, AI today is far more likely to be applied (shoehorned) in ways that are malinvestments and misapplications rather than anything that is value accretive for anyone.
