Eggs might be one of the most useful foods in the kitchen.

One large egg gives you roughly 6 grams of protein, plus nutrients like choline, B12, and selenium.

Cheap. Fast. Works for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Nutrition doesn’t always need to be complicated.

What’s your favorite way to cook an egg?

Poached. Simply simmer water and lower egg in. Pull out with spoon when white becomes cloudy. No need to add vinegar or spin to keep it together, easy to make a handful in one frying pan.

Poached. I got these silicone cups that you put in a shallow pan of steaming water and cook them covered for 6 minutes. Add a little salt and some everything bagel seasoning, and they’re perfect.
