Just got a Brother industrial label printer (because it can hold the heat shrink tubing cartridges).
It's the latest model, first released 2 years ago. Charges with a USB-C connector.
Guess what doesn't work? Charging it with a real USB-C cable from a conforming Anker charger. They cheaped out on the $0.02 resistors to make it conforming.
I expected better from Brother at this price point. Especially because they stopped including the AC adapter with this updated model.
