Trying to use Apple Self-Service Repair process to fix a broken iPad screen. The rental tool kit arrived missing pieces (and had a bonus extra bit in it). The support folks they employ are incapable of solving this. They've tried a few different gas-lighting techniques ("wait for an email” - never arrives, “you didn't supply a photo" -- of course I did, "that's impossible as we inspect the kit before we seal it” -- I have physical proof otherwise).

@nprofile1q... You mentioned not wanting to load DockTilePlugins into your process. I would expect that the actual Dock fires up an XPC process to load the plugin as a separate process for obvious security reasons.

@nprofile1q... Your Samsung SSD choice for the Photos library confuses me. Why not just let the library live on your NAS at that point instead of relying on that sketchy USB-C/Thunderbolt connector and a Samsung drive that surely will have data-loss firmware bugs but no firmware updater for macOS?

@nprofile1q... Looks excellent! One problem I’ve struggled with would be how to create a layered filled object to represent the tea itself. I’ve found it hard in the tools I’ve used to exactly match the cup’s curve with the liquid object. I set it aside at the point where I was about to write a Glyphs plugin. LMK and I can privately share the draft symbol so you can see the issues.
