@nprofile1q... I think dick measuring is a real problem in Western culture. And something that is fostered by individualism/capitalism/zerosumming.

"I have to be stronger, or my team needs to be stronger. Or I have to know more. Or remember more. Or work more. My numbers need to be the best numbers."

And that reflects, I think, in how men communicate. In how *I* miscommunicate.

Does imperialism/etc factor into it? I wouldnt doubt it. But I don't really know.
