@Blurry Moon @nprofile1q... i think the whole discourse of `morbid obesity is fine actually` is from beauty companies trying to salvage customers out of an obesity epidemic. apparently the actual history of body positivity traces back to birth marks and physical defects.

obesity is heavily metabolic dysregulation, though its conceivable that they might still have some plush people (because SOME body fat is actually within human norms even in ancient times)
