I used to think the Super Bowl was an essential part of American culture. Super Bowl Sunday practically a national holiday. Now I have zero interest in watching it.
I am German. Soccer is the nation's religion, although it is pay TV and state TV doesn't even bother to get the rights with the money we are forced to pay for public TV every month.
