Great read! The author makes a compelling point that calling the brain an "information processor" is just a descriptive category error, much like saying it is fundamentally a "blood flowing system" (or as Aristotle thought, a blood-cooling one!). Computation is a useful tool for modeling things like memory, but it doesn't define the ontological reality of the mind.
