LSB, single-column, inside reference, red letter, indexed, goat skin.
Most readable yet hyper literal (NASB tradition) translation of the Hebrew/Aramaic/Greek manuscripts.
The Bible is small enough ...
Problem: NASB is Catholic-supervised slop.
Read a YLT, follow the 83 Torah instructions that don't require a temple nor require the Levites (yes, this includes the Feast Days we were given over 4,000-5,000 years ago at least), follow a lunisolar calendar called the Hebrew Calendar, and live life using these instructions.
NASB is garbage. NKJV is a grift. NIV is Lucifarian. NLT is slop.
KJV is controlled. 1599 GNV is good for historicists (despite copyright). YLT 1898 is good for historicists, and public domain. Combined with a Young's Concordance, and you're set.
