Yeah fee for exit is one hurdle, another one is the recovery procedure, eg in spark or lightning manual move to L1 is complex, i suppose ecash has the same issue, but the main user experience issue is:
- One wallet for bitcoin L1
- One wallet for lightning
- Spark at least is compatible with lightning
- One wallet for liquid
- One wallet for ecash
- One wallet for ark ecash
That's bad for adoption. At least many wallets already integrate L1 + lightning + spark. So you need only one seed phrase for that, and also often can make easy swaps. But I would stop there. That is already enough burden and complexity for wallet implementations. I would forget about liquid, ecash or ark ecash; that's just pushing it into adoption issues and more hacks.
