HELP! ... If you're familiar with website design pricing.

Here's my situation. I've been in desperate need of work for the past couple of months, and had an opportunity arise to help a non-profit organization with their outdated, and troublesome, website.

I'm fine on the technical side of things, and will probably use Joomla or WordPress. What I have no clue about is what to charge. I realize that depends on the site's features, and they'll be sending me a very detailed requirements document for me to evaluate.

I'm famous for undercutting myself, as I'm always afraid of high-balling a quote. In this case, I already have the gig, so I can't really go wrong. At the same time, I don't want to come off as a jerk. I basically need some ball-park figures. I'll probably be maintaining the site after I do the rebuild, and also have no clue what a typical market rate is for that.

If you're clueful in this area, I (and some dogs needing adoption) would really appreciate it. Depending on how much help you provide, I'd be happy to kick down some sats after I get paid.
