Ultimately, I don’t want to tell merchants that I want to pay in bitcoin.
I want to tap my phone/scan the QR, grab my things and be on my way.
That should be the goal.
Yes! It would be nice to mention something like "thanks for accepting Bitcoin" to the cashier who otherwise has no idea that's what you are using to pay them.
