a question this dumb is a gnostic denial of the reality we live in. We live in a zero sum world of limited resources and the sustenance of nations and their faith requires said resources. Regardless of whatever you think about Mormons, none of them would ever be dumb enough to ask a question like “why does a church need land and money?” and it just shows how deeply vulnerable the Christian world is to gnosticism and solipsism.
