He pays $2 per picket in "pallet bulk". I cannot find cedar pickets in the UK for anything like that price. More like £7-10 per picket. So his cost economics really don't work in the UK.
Is it just simply the case that all timber is way more expensive in the UK? And how, if it is, am I only just realising this?
Or am I wrong or misunderstanding, and there is a source in the UK for the same pickets for roughly the same price?
