Meh. Not every society is a conspiracy. Trace that back through the Klan and the Knights of the Golden Circle and whatever else. I've seen inner workings up close of both the oldest Greek letter society that started the entire frat/sorority Greek life thing on campuses (and had majorly successful members) and I've been in others. What can I say? Ceremony? Booze? Food? Fun? Party? Handshakes? Symbols? Yeah... That's all there. And... Who cares? It ain't no conspiracy. Most of the Mason's secrets are public nowadays.
Skull and Bones is just an elaborate rich family masquerade ball. Focussing on two publicly succesful members (out of hundreds who arent over the past few decades) should give you a hint that it ain't much.
