Right on. He famously said 'Augustinus totus nostrem est' (or something like that) -- that is, "Augustine is completely on our side in these debates." I referred to him as the 'great summarizer' but the phrase I was looking for was 'the great consolidator' -- some historical theologian called him that. Maybe Richard Muller. Not sure.
