Also Santa Claus was invented by Coca cola corporation to sell more soda in winter because coke was only seen as a summer drink before that.
It was a marketing campaign that is actually still active. They hand out millions of free drinks on Christmas to children in the UK, the guy the drives the truck playing the Santa Claus character.
He is a combination of 3 different historical/mythical figures that has been totally bastardised by capitalism
