Better to invest into a late 90s classic that has been lovingly cared for by a single or second owner… knowing you’ll have to invest time and energy to maintain and replace aging parts instead of eating high depreciation cost on the vehicle… or, if you have the coin, grab something that has been restored by someone obsessed with doing things the correct way and is moving to the next project and offering a fair price
