free relay is a bad idea tbh. it will get swarmed with bots and require a bunch of moderation.

Yeah this is what I was afraid of. I wish there was an easier way to onboard new muslims so that they can be in the orbit of muslim nostr. I guess @alp 's muslim followpack will just have to work for now. What i'm afraid of is that we onboard new muslims, and we don't see them, and we don't interact with them, and then they quit and go back to LSM.

follow the medina model. if you onboard a brother/sister then check in on them and support their process of learning the protocal. if we can't do that then we shouldn't be looking at a tech solve cause the problem is internal.
