IMO, what is needed is a decentralised platform which cannot be censored. YouTube is centralised and censorship is rampant on it.

... the truth is , if entire world switched over to Nostr ( hypothetically :-) , then #Primal will again become the same platform ..and many more .. it won't exactly mirror YouTube but it will find another means of lock in .. I mean I am already hooked to #Amethyst 😜
Besides .. decentralization is a great slogan ..it doesn't feed small creators .. you don't need a place to write or upload videos .. algorithm is needed to connect the creator to those who crave for her content ..
