My EDC is the Heltec MeshPocket 10,000mAh since it also works as a backup battery for my cell phone. I even bought one for my mom as an early Mother's Day gift. There are a couple more nodes on meshtastic, but we are running meshcore because it is simpler to get set up and running with. And I know that we will get some mesh core infrastructure as time goes on. I have far too many trees in my yard, otherwise I would put up a solar node myself.
