I understand the sentiment, the yearning for loving and wise company, though history and experience suggest otherwise. Having said that, having resigned ourselves to this relative absence, isn't it true to say all people push you to be better, even if this means company that demands greater strength, resilience, or the acceptance of radical responsibility, leadership. You're not alone in being alone. And its not as if you live without meaningful employment.
