I understand you totally hey, but remember being kind doesn't mean you allow yourself to be used or abused. It just means you are always ready + willing to show kindness to anyone but wise enough to know when someone wants to use you. Discernment is always key and sometimes it's hard to notice the difference upfront but once you do notice that your kindness is being taken advantage of, you protect your kind heart by withdrawing from that scenario.
