I have to say the intel community stuff is kind of a red herring. Suppose it was created by the CIA. What exactly would that change? IMO not much. Even your statement about them not wanting to kill it cuz they made it isn’t true. There are warring factions all the time. Spend ten mins in DC at a bar or watch Burn After Reading and you will realize how many factions and laughable human clumsy ambition is at play.
