Some mornings I go to a coffee shop in the Marina and it’s a pickup point for the Silicon Valley shuttle that takes tech workers to the Peninsula and South Bay.

@nprofile1q... i’ve spent my entire life in the South Bay and have watched the traffic turn impossible. By accident ended up living near my office, but I see the toll that it takes on my family and coworkers.
The huge insanity of it is that there is no reason for everything to be here. These corporations could easily spread out their operations. They are tech companies, making the network tech tools, supposedly. But every VIP wants to make sure his division is in the holy land.
