Gm, I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again.
For me, It’s never been a lack of trust, it’s a lack of patience when surrendering to God’s plan and timing.
Heard a story this weekend of this non-verbal autistic boy that evoked immediate tears and full body chills. He spent 20 years not being able to communicate. His family finally took him to learn how to communicate using speller boards at age 20. The first thing he chose to communicate to everyone was “God is strong in this room. There is no stopping His Love”.
Eventually he communicated to his family that he had a dream where Jesus came to him and told him to be patient, his relief to his pain of not being able to communicate was coming, and it would come in the form of a board. His family asked him when he had that dream assuming it was recent- he told them he had it at age 5. 15 years of patience and faith and surrender. 15 years of waiting for relief, reward. 15 years of his mind trapped in his body knowing exactly what’s going on while being treated as retarded in schools. And the first thing he writes is there is no stopping His love.
Often we want to see our work, our dreams, our visions exist in the world sooner than they are meant to. Often we want our discomfort, our uncertainty, and our pain immediately resolved. It is a reminder of the strength it takes to have low time preference, long term vision, and trust in the grander plan.
THERE IS NO STOPPING HIS LOVE. Have a good day🩷
