Still getting used to Cinnamon as a desktop but already liking it well enough over gnome.
Main selling point - KiCad works properly again.

@nprofile1q... oh yes, Cinnamon is peak Linux desktop. Been using it for the last 3 years.
Sadly, I experience more and more issues with X11 on my desktop (multiple monitors, each with different, high refresh rate and different resolution). So had to jump to KDE.
But will be back once Cinnamon polishes their Wayland session.
