With not a lot of memories (tens of thousands) you don’t need any expensive embedding models

Noted. Doesn't seem to cost anything (maybe it does make computation heavier indirectly), so don't see harm in telling it to incorporate embedding (you do have to explicitly tell it to do this, it seems).
