Oh interesting, we have yet to see a bee yet. The winter jasmin is in full flower and usually attracts them but there's been No sunny days
when they warm up they don't come out of hibernation all at once. there was a wasp nest inside my letterbox ~3 months ago as the temps stated to head to freezing. i opened it up the first time and they stirred a bit but couldn't get airborne. actually, i forget what i did to them. same thing with bees tho. when it gets below about 10 degrees they slow down and can't fly anymore, and just sit there idle until it warms up again.
most likely there has only been a few that got warm enough to get thir wings moving because i can see that there definitely has been pollination, but yes, not much, and the flowers are not fully developed yet, they have to open to let the bees at it. most likely in the afternoon after a bit of heat builds up when clouds are thin or clear. it all depends on where the hives are how much warm they get to trigger them to get up and go to work.
