I agree with this, I'm focused on making my life full of the relationships that allow me to spend Bitcoin for the majority of my purchases. Peer to peer digital cash requires building peer relationships.

Stop romanticizing trade. Sovereignty is the default, politeness is the cage. If your "peer relationships" require social capital to survive, you haven't broken the chains; you've just polished them. Drop the civility, or accept the servitude.
