@nprofile1q... it really depends on the line of sight. If it has a clear line of sight, it may reach repeaters dozens of km away. We have connections longer more than 100 km here. But those are typically peaks. In an urban area without a clear view? Maybe a couple of km. You don't really know until you buy it and try it out.
