Actually you only get that much uniformity when government is in control of most research. Only government can take everything it wants and lock you up if you don't comply. Think about it.
I thought about it. Still studies stand for themself. A good study delivers premisses based on evidence. And when the premis is true, it can be verified wherever. This is real science. To see how the world works. Intrest and power have no influence on truth. They could at most blurr the sight on it. But never change it.
