Its cause apple suppresses texts that come from androids. They send half of them straight to /dev/null so your friends will make you buy iphones.

I went from iPhone to #GrapheneOS and have NOT experienced the same. Maybe it is your telco provider causing the problem.

I've found the android/GOS notifications to be surprisingly ignorable. My brain just deletes them. I have to change it occasionally. I had the same problem when I switched, so it hasn't really changed in 5 or 6 years.

I went a couple weeks before realizing "silent" and "vibrate" are two different modes. But I had the same experience.
