Directional ideas are not true in every inatance. bad products can make a lot of money yet, you wouldn't say "create a bad product to make a lot of money." On the average, bad products lose money.
On a long time scale, Bitcoin defunds the government. incremental adoption only increases that eventuality but is not a true/false switch: I use Bitcoin therefore government goes bankrupt.
The same is true about confiscation. Every "confiscated" coin was given under duress or willfully given. No one can intentionally steal YOUR coins if you do not allow it. Most criminals under duress allow the seizure.
