I'm here for the quality v. ease.

my standard is salt+pepper seasoning. cook in butter & medium heat on a cast iron pan for 4.5 minutes on each side.

cleanup is getting rid of the butter (put it in an old can, throw that can away later). for cleaning the cast iron, I get that sumbish hot AF and then quench it under a cold faucet while scraping with a flat metal spatula.

it's not terribly challenging, but there's still a mess. how's the air-fryer cleanup?

Yours sounds far better but I still make a great steak and it’s consistent so my picky eaters at home will eat it. Clean up is rising the tray and putting it in the dishwasher if it needs more than that. About once a month I have to deep clean the fryer to address drippings that Miss the drip pa...
