Craziest day in Tuscany. After an awesome day exploring wineries and small towns, we stopped in for dinner in Monteriggioni, not knowing that the opening night of the Festival of the Sun was here. Just saw Rick Rubin, ran into Jack Dorsey, and a surprise concert is about to start.

Monteriggioni is a tourist driven venue. Usually not really very interesting, you were lucky to hit the fest dates. Monteriggioni is amazing 🤩 I have visited it some years ago, while traveling by bicycle through Italy. Fun fact: I was curious about this place, because it was the home of the main character from the also amazing game "Assassin's Creed II", Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
