Most people don't want to be shitty or create or live in chaos. It happens when the people society depends on are disincentivized to contribute. Some people were never going to be productive no matter what we do. I'm talking about doctors, engineers, and public safety people checking out because the rewards that would naturally accrue from their contributions are stolen. Often abuse and unnecessary difficulty are added to their workload in addition to rewards stolen.

Where is the money today? Private equity, venture capital, and advertising. Those are not productive places for society to allocate their finest minds. The money means it is happening though.
