My new favorite conspiracy theory is that there’s only like 5 billion people on the planet not 8.
When you look at the various mal incentives to lie about population it makes a lot of sense.
It’s funny, the rabbit hole of “what is money” has made me realise I have to ask the question “why do I know what I know”

And now that I am, for sure there is incentive to play games with the data
