Its a great idea but it is really heavy to plan .. AS you said ... You need round about 15k USD a year (more is better) do want to live in a Van / Camper ... Or a smaller one ?
15k is not the money you need, it's the money you save from not paying rent.
A small RV would be nice but RV parks are expensive too. So it's not worth it.
