I don't think so. I think they believe that God desires to be chosen from man's free will.
So true. God wants us to know and love Him and gave us the full choice to deny this purpose. Love cannot be forced, lest it's more akin to Stockholm syndrome. He gives us this choice so we can truly love Him, with our whole soul and will.
