@PiecoverBTC I just cannot support something that is worse than the problem itself. For me, this proposed solution does not fix anything as it does not stop _any_ spam. And if it even was a good idea, it should then be activated without a fork. I'd have to think of solutions, but if I had to say something on the spot. My suggestions would be
a.) b.i.p11O remove the planned fork, have it implement the proper way, with hashrate
b.) maybe increase the minimum tx fee to price out spam more, especially in a day when onchain fees are small from most transactions taking place on layer 2. Maybe like difficulty, have the minimum tx fee self adjust based on size of past blocks?
