When I hear person of color I assume someone's talking about a painter. Or maybe a comic book colorer.
The real fun becomes addressing this language policing when people are from outside the US and they have different (but often equally fervently held) rules about what words are allowed to be said about what people.
How about we just get back to recognizing when someone is trying to be offensive rather than descriptive and otherwise go about our day?
Otherwise we're doomed to just realize that any word can go from being PC to being offensive in how it's used anyway. Which is retarded. I mean slow. I mean developmentally delayed. I mean special. I mean disabled. I mean differently abled.
