The only "pro" I see is that KYC becomes inherent and stablecoin $USD can be swapped directly for #Bitcoin as opposed to today's flow: wire, buy corn, shotgun KYC, withdraw. Presumably, one would be able to treat something like Blockstream Green as their entire checking account, instantly changing between dollars and corn, and of course, all seamlessly surveilled and likely gated as the state desires.
