Indeed, it is humans who identify the concepts at play which the sloppy AI does not itself recognize or know what to do with. The good artist creates a cohesive reality out of the art. Like how Tolkien took linguistic slop out of his mind based on much research (training) and then formed a coherent, realistic etymology and then history of Middle Earth.
