hah... takes a lot of money to build unusual electromagnetic devices

the design i've had in my mind for some time requires a heavy cast iron resonator that has been coated with pyrolitic carbon to make it magnetically reflective (diamagnetic), and a tesla coil, not really thought that much about how the high frequency spark gap might be implemented for this nor what to use for capacitor array... i've had many thoughts about low resistance conductive wire, ie silver, in the design as well, though to be perfectly honest i suspect that even if it can punch objects around it will require a potent power source that isn't so far from old school explosive propulsion systems like rockets and jet engines
