i was having some foot issues after buying the new hoka clifton 10s… it felt like i was standing on a stick on my left exterior foot, pushing me down onto the right side of the shoe. i’ve been running in hokas for many years and usually replace my shoes every 3 months or so (and donate the old ones) — this pile in the photo are from just the last 8 months. that white pair in the front hasn’t even been worn yet!

but i just can’t deal with the foam sole change, whatever it may be. i know they just came out with the 11s — but i feel like they lost my trust. i don’t want plantar fasciitis to reappear. i have to be choosy. after talking to my peeps at Philadelphia Runner for an hour, i moved into brooks glycerin 23s for now. giving them a go. sad to see this hoka pile. #fitness #tokyo2027
