If the inch got slightly smaller every year, would boomers say stuff like “I know I’m 75 but I am as tall as I’ve ever been. That may be partially caused by the inch getting smaller but mostly from the advances in nutrition and medicine have allowed me to grow taller than any human had ever grown before my generation.” Or “my house is getting so big, even at 8’ tall I can’t reach the top cabinet in my kitchen. Must be those greedy cabinet makers always making the cabinets taller.”
