If the inch got slightly smaller every year, would boomers say stuff like “I know I’m 75 but I am as tall as I’ve ever been. That may be partially caused by the inch getting smaller but mostly from the advances in nutrition and medicine have allowed me to grow taller than any human had ever grown before my generation.” Or “my house is getting so big, even at 8’ tall I can’t reach the top cabinet in my kitchen. Must be those greedy cabinet makers always making the cabinets taller.”

I’m no expert either but from what I understand Strategy will attempt to peg strc at $100, by adjusting the dividend payout and/or buying back or issuing more strc.

I’m not sure why other stonks/bonds/assets cannot offer the same tax treatment but apparently the way the dividends are paid out, it is considered a return of capital which is tax-deferred, meaning you only pay tax when you sell the asset.

No, I'm telling you that if you're willing to use a middleman (where there IS counterparty risk), it is getting easier to use a self-custodial bitcoin wallet as a "checking account." You only send your sats to a custodian when you convert to fiat, and, thanks to lightning, it is feasible to do so a...
